ISO Certification Achieved at New Standard
Eight years after initially qualifying as an ISO registered company, 4R Group Ltd is delighted to announce that it has recently passed its re-certification audit for OHSAS 18001:2007 (Health and Safety) and has now also qualified to be registered under the new standards of ISO 9001:2015 (Quality) and ISO 14001:2015 (Environmental) management systems. 4R Group will continue to operate the business to these high ISO standards.
Benefits of the certifications include: widened market potential, compliance to procurement tenders, improved efficiency and cost savings, higher level of customer service, and therefore satisfaction with heightened staff moral and motivation. By having a recognised management standard it tells your customers that you are serious about their needs.
ISO 9001:2015 sets out the criteria for a quality management system. This standard is based on a number of quality management principles including a strong customer focus, management and staff motivation, the process approach and continual improvement.
Using ISO 9001:2015 helps ensure that customers get consistent, good quality products and services, which in turn brings many business benefits.
The ISO 14001:2015 helps 4R achieve the intended outcomes of its environmental management system, which provide value for the environment, the company itself and interested parties.
Consistent with the 4R’s environmental policy, the intended outcomes of the environmental management system include:
- Enhancement of environmental performance
- Fulfilment of compliance obligations
- Achievement of environmental objectives
OHSAS 18001:2007 is an international occupational health and safety management system that helps minimise risk to employees, sub-contractors and members of the public and demonstrates the company’s diligence in its approach to health and safety.
In the next year 4R Group will be working towards qualifying to be registered under the new Health and Safety standard ISO 45001.
ISO 45001, occupational health and safety management systems will help 4R by providing a framework to improve employee safety, reduce workplace risks and create better, safer working conditions.
