Delivering Biosolids for Restoration

Recycling of biosolids is vital to South West Water operations, 4R Group provide both agricultural and restoration outlets for biosolids across the region working in partnership with Gregory Distribution Ltd. In 2014 approx. 14,000 tonnes were delivered to both Imerys Lee Moor & Dubbers restoration sites which were former china clay pits. Once on site the process begins to create a soil forming material which is then used to enhance the landscape and improve the environment.
